Founders

We partner early, and we stay.

W² is for founders at pre-seed, or before there is a round to name. The firm writes the first check and then spends six months inside the company with one job: make it grow exponentially.

What we look for

A real company in formation. Founders who can say what they are building and why it has to exist. A moment where outside capital is the first capital, not a follow-on. If you have already taken a check, this is the wrong firm.

The six months

By the check, the company already has something in use. The six months after it are a grind toward growth, not toward a first customer: a weekly working session that never skips, the firm's people inside the company, and one growth number the whole company watches and doubles on a schedule. Hiring ahead of demand, multiplying the customers, and a next round raised from strength. Founders who want the structured version join W²’s program as part of coming in.

Not ready for a check yet

Some companies come to the firm before there is anything in use. For them there is the three-month acceleration program: zero to one, twelve weeks inside W², full time, with the firm's whole facility behind the company. Finish, and the company is eligible for the first check.

How to pitch

Write to the firm with the company, the founders, and where things stand. A deck and the formation papers belong with that story. If you have numbers, bring them. W² reads what you send and answers.
